Killam Development, which is based in Laredo, has recently acquired three warehouses in Sharyland Industrial Park, located in Mission.
These three new properties add approximately 500,000 square feet to Killam Development’s existing industrial portfolio in the Rio Grande Valley, increasing its footprint to 800,000 square feet.
“We continue to be optimistic about opportunities along the Texas-Mexico border. This real estate acquisition represents a major milestone for Killam Development, as we deepen our presence in border markets outside of our core holdings. The Rio Grande Valley metroplex is an easy place to do business that has welcomed Killam Development into its community,” said Cliffe Killam, who is a partner in the firm.
In 2013, Killam Development acquired two warehouses known as Tres Puentes in Hidalgo. These investments have diversified the company’s tenant mix with more manufacturing and regional distribution in a different border market. Currently, Killam Development has 38,000 square feet available for lease in its Tres Puentes warehouse with potential to build out an office store front with prime visibility.
